‘ Waiting their turn…’ is an original lino print created in my Glasgow studio space. When I visited the Isle of Bute in May 2023 I was lucky enough to meet the small red squirrel population discovered by local wildlife photographer John Williams. The scene I encountered was fairytale like. Birds of all variety surrounded the magical red squirrels waiting on their turn to munch some food left by John. This lino print was hand drawn and carved by me. I chose a beautiful off white Hosho Select Awagami Washi paper from Japan to print a limited edition of 5. The ink colour is blue black Caligo relief ink. This print measures approx 53 x 42cm and will posted in a secure postal tube.
