‘Grow your own is a lino print I designed when I heard about the Netflix show ‘Kiss The Ground’. The show is about climate change and the role soil, farming methods and regeneration of plant life have in this. I have printed this Lino block on handmade Lokta paper. This is natural lime green with deckled edges. The ink is black linseed oil-based ink. Lokta paper is handmade in Nepal and is a non-wood
forest product made from the pulp of bushes. When harvested, the lokta bush automatically regenerates to a fully grown 4-5 meter plant within 5–7 years. The industry offers sustainable employment to many rural women. Each print measures approx 8.5 x 10inches. (This is an open edition print). (Frame not included )
