When I visited the Isle of Eigg I heard many cuckoos all over the island. Often associated with the spring season when I visited. This view is from Laig Bay. A beautiful beach overlooking the famous Isle of Rum outline. I hand drew this lino plate and hand carved it using my Pfeil carving tools. I chose a lovely blue black Caligo traditional relief ink to print a limited edition of 6. It measures A4 on 50 x 35cm Fabriano Unica printmaking paper
