Description
‘Harbingers of Spring’ is an original lino print featuring some of my favourite sights which beckon Spring. Snowdrops cropping up everywhere and male blackbirds beginning their beautiful mating songs. There is a change in the air and the birds begin to get even busier than they usually are. This lino print was drawn and then hand carved in my studio. I then printed a small, limited edition of 3 in Prussian Blue ( the King of blues!) traditional relief ink onto cream coloured Fabriano Unica Printmaking Paper (50% cotton) on our studio Gunning Etching press. This print measures just over A3 in size
