Description
This is an original illustration of a pink hydrangea close up using my beloved polychromos coloured pencils. They are artist grade pencils with intense vibrancy and luminosity. This is part of my series of macro botanical illustrations based on the way I perceive flowers and the intensity of their colour. These take many hours of layering and patient work. This measures approximately 8 inches x 8 inches and is on Hahnemule Hot Pressed watercolour paper in off white.
