Homesick: Why I live in a shed by Catrina Davies

I saw someone share an article about the woman who wrote this book and I couldn’t help but buy it. I couldn’t put it down. Catrina writes about her own personal journey through the housing crisis with escalating rents and property prices and why she ended up living in a shed. Her style is lively, thoughtful, and beautifully descriptive. Her reconnection with nature and the wild is wonderful. She displays self-sufficiency and tenacity which is admirable and inspirational. Now I don’t think I am going to move into a shed but it is a worthy read reminding me of practicing thankfulness and gratitude for the roof over my head and food in my cupboards.
